About BABCP
The British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies is the lead organisation for CBT in the UK.
A registered charity with almost 7,000 members, the BABCP aims to promote the practice, theory and development of CBT.
Membership is made up of a wide cross section of health professionals, including nurses, trainees, occupational therapists, counsellors, psychologists and psychiatrists, as well as CBT users and interested members of the public.
The BABCP accredits CBT therapists; has a network of branches and special interest groups; publishes a magazine, e-journal and scientific journal and hosts Annual and Spring conferences.
