The Association for Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (AREBT) is the lead organisation for REBT
in the UK and has links with other REBT organisations in both New Zealand and the USA. The late
Albert Ellis was a supporter of and a fellow of AREBT.

The aim of AREBT is to promote and develop the science, practice and delivery of Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy and to make this original and effective form of CBT more easily accessible to the public.

AREBT offers its members a range of services which include an annual conference; newsletters; annual REBT journal exploring research and empirical evidence of the benefits of REBT; continuing professional practice study days; access to accreditation and a free online REBT forum.

Anyone of good standing with an interest in CBT/REBT is also very welcome to join.
